Afzal Latif appointed as Federal Ombudsman Secretary

The federal government has appointed Afzal Latif as Secretary Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division on Friday, PBS-22 officer Afzal Latif has been posted as Secretary in the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat. He was waiting for the posting.
The notification further stated that the appointment is effective immediately and until further notice. After the approval of the federal government, the establishment division issued the notification.
