Hospital sealed in Chunian after woman’s death

A woman and her newly-born daughter died due to negligence of staff in labour room of Umer Noor Hospital located in Kanganpur area tehsil Chunian, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Soon after the incident, heirs of the victim protested against the administration of Umer Noor hospital and accusing them of negligence during delivery which resulted in death of mother and daughter.
Deputy District Health Officer (DDHO) and drug inspector after taking notice of the incident decided to seal the hospital immediately and forwarded the case to Punjab Healthcare Commission for further action.
