Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Monday announced change in its administrative infrastructure and appointed Amirs in five districts of Punjab including Islamabad and Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ziauddin Ansari appointed Amir of Jamaat-e-Islami for Lahore, Nasrullah Randhawa for Islamabad, Mohammad Javed Kasuri central Punjab, Dr Tariq Saleem North Punjab, and Rao Mohammad Zafar for West Punjab.

The newly-appointed district Amirs will perform their duties for two years while provincial Amirs will complete their three years tenure.
