Pakistani showbiz stars launch drive for royalties

Renowned Pakistani stars joined hands to support a beneficial cause.

Through social media, members of the Pakistani showbiz industry have launched a drive for royalties which they believe is their fundamental right.  

This beneficial cause is inspired by the veteran actress Naila Jaffery.

Esteemed Pakistani veteran actress Naila Jaffery is a cancer patient and recently through social media demanded for royalties for the re-runs of her dramas so that her treatment cost can be covered.

Naila’s request was fulfilled.

The #giveroyaltiestoartists campaign was initiated through influential stars on Instagram.

Mahira Khan, Yasir Hussain, Mansha Pasha, Sakina Samo, Zara Noor Abbas, Armeena Khan, Kübra Khan, Asad Siddiqui and many others took part in this campaign to demand a due right.
