Punjab governor urges youths to support Imran Khan

Punjab Governor Omar Sarfraz Cheema said during an address to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Youth Wing office-bearers from different districts that youths were the strength of the party, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Tuesday.
“Before the formation of the PTI, a person belonging to the middle class could not have even thought of entering politics,” he said.
“The sincere and patriotic youths must support Imran Khan,” he urged and maintained that the PTI struggled for the supremacy of the Constitution and the law.
“The PTI also strived for independent judiciary and independent media,” stated the Punjab governor and added that both major parties – PML-N and PPP – kept befooling the people in the past too.
“It is because of these two parties that the PTI came into being. Imran Khan is not the name of an individual but the name of consciousness and sovereignty,” he pointed out.
The Punjab governor also urged the people to support Imran Khan to make the PTI’s Minar-e-Pakistan public meeting a success for a sovereign Pakistan.
