CM Maryam assigns ‘zero polio case’ task in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday presided over a special meeting to review the on-going anti-polio campaign in the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister assigned the target of ‘zero polio case’ in the province.
Maryam Nawaz ordered to bring the percentage of missing children to zero.
The Chief Minister directed all relevant deputy commissioners to review data of anti-polio campaign union-council wise on daily basis.
Maryam Nawaz directed local administration to ensure complete implementation on ‘macro plan’ of anti-polio vaccination.
The Chief Minister said that relevant officials should ensure that every child must be administered polio vaccination. She said that no child should be left without administering polio vaccine.
Provincial secretary primary and secondary healthcare briefed participants of the meeting regarding anti-polio campaign.
