Actress Shabnam expresses gratitude to government for awarding Sitara-e-Imtiaz

Jharna Basak, known by her stage name Shabnam, is a Bangladeshi–Pakistani star.
She ruled the Pakistani film industry for decades time.
During an interview, the veteran expressed her gratitude to the Government for awarding Sitara-e-Imtiaz.
She said that they recognized her art and announced the award.
She added that she worked wholeheartedly for the industry for decades and she always garnered positive feedback from the netizens community.
In response to a question, she said the real award for an artist is public’s recognition but the honour received at the government level has a special importance.
She also stated that she was satisfied that she will be receiving the award late.
“I will come to Pakistan on March 23 to receive the award”, Shabnam said.
