Pakistan’s Anita Karim registers 2nd int'l win at ONE Warrior Series

Pakistan’s first female first Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) athlete Anita Karim Wednesday registered second victory of her career on One Championship's ONE Warrior Series 10 card in Singapore.
Anita defeated Estonia's Marie Ruumet via unanimous decision and improved her professional record to (2-1).
The shining athlete hailing from Hunza claimed her victory through a unanimous decision in Singapore’s leading MMA event ONE Championship’s OWS as the fight lasted full three rounds and was ruled on by the judges.
Anit Karim had registered first win in One Warrior Series (OWS) on February 28, 2019, against Indonesia's Gita Suharsono. She was awarded Rs. 100 000 by the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan, Hafeez-ur-Rehman.
Anita is Pakistan's first international female Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter. Anita was born in Hunza Valley, Gilgit-Baltistan in a family of MMA fighters. Anita, along with her brothers, Uloomi, Ehtisham Karim, and Ali Sultan, founded the MMA gym, "Fight Fortress", which is one of the first MMA training centres in Pakistan.
Anita also Karim earned medals at the Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi, 2019, and was given a shield as appreciation for her representation of Pakistan in this tournament by the Governor of Gilgit-Baltistan, Raja Jalal Hussain Maqpoon.
Karim also emerged victorious with two gold medals at the Pakistan Grappling Challenge (PGC) 2018.
