Company in trouble after sending faulty phone to customer

A customer in Karachi approached a consumer court after receiving a faulty mobile phone from Airlink Communication through an online order, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
A user after being ‘cheated’ by the company approached the city’s consumer court. He received a faulty mobile phone instead of what he ordered online and decided to use legal ways to get an answer from the seller.
Judicial Magistrate Mukesh Kumar of Karachi South Consumer Court issued notice to the mobile company and sought a reply from Airlink Communications by January 21, the TV channel reported.
It is pertinent to note that after the promulgation of The Sindh Consumer Protection Act in 2019, a total of 29 consumer courts were established in various districts of Sindh, out of which six were in Karachi.
