The Sindh High Court (SHC) has rejected an appeal of a murder convict against his death sentence for killing his employer after he gave him low wages, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
However, the court during the hearing on Tuesday commuted Muhammad Imran’s death sentence to life imprisonment, remarking nobody has the right to kill anyone over a dispute. “No one qualifies for pardon for someone’s murder,” the court further added.
The convict had shot dead his employer for giving him low daily wages.
Prosecutor Iqbal Awan said the convict shot his employer four times as he was demanding Rs500 for the day though he was hired for Rs200.
A case was registered against the convict in Khokhrapar Police Station in 2012 and the trial court had awarded death sentence to Muhammad Imran.
