Mandviwalla’s acquittal plea in corruption reference rejected

An accountability court (AC) in Islamabad on Wednesday rejected the applications filed by former deputy chairman Senate, belonging to Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Saleem Mandviwalla and others for their acquittal in Kidney Hills Reference, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
AC Judge Muhammad Bashir said that the decision on Saleem Mandviwalla’s petition, seeking permanent exemption from court appearance, would be pronounced after his indictment in the case.

Saleem Mandviwalla, Ejaz Haroon and Abdul Ghani Majeed had filed petitions for their acquittal in the Kidney Hills Reference.
