Pakistani actor Imran Abbas is a well-known name here in the country as well as across the border in India.
The actor made his Bollywood debut in 2014 in Creature 3D, alongside Bipasha Basu. He then also made a special appearance in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Hai Mushkil, which also starred Fawad Khan.
However, while a ban on Pakistani actors working in India in 2016 cut short their careers, artists on both sides of the border continue to collaborate.
While referring to the hostile relations between Pakistan and India, actor Imran Abbas said that cold wars not only destroy countries but also their economies.
In a statement, Imran Abbas said that our neighboring country should now stop its unjust attitude. We are standing with the people of occupied Kashmir, he added.
The actor further told that Indian director Raj Kumar Santoshi had signed three films with him but due to escalating tensions between both the countries, the projects were cancelled.
I was offered roles in Bollywood movies Ram Leela and Boss but I truly regret not working in Ashiqui 2, he told.
