Police on Wednesday arrested Samina Shah, wife of renowned journalist Ayaz Amir, and mother of Shahnawaz Amir, main suspect in the murder case of his wife Sara Inam, after the court in Islamabad cancelled her bail, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Additional Sessions Judge Sheikh Sohail rejected her bail application.
Shahnawaz had killed Sara at his Chak Shehzad residence in Islamabad with a dumbbell in September.
The incident created a widespread outrage as the people called for justice to Sara, who had come to Pakistan from Canada to stay with her husband.
