British screenwriter Jemima Khan and the ex-wife of former Prime Minister and chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, sang the song during a recent interview with a BBC journalist.
“Ao bacho sair karaye tumko Pakistan ki, jiski khatir hamny di qurbani lakho jaan ki. Pakistan Zindabad, Pakistan Zindabad,” she sang the lyrics of an old Pakistan song that used to be aired on PTV for school kids.
