Govt moves SC for review of decision to annul Review of Judgments and Orders Act

The federal government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to review its decision to declare null and void the Review of Judgments and Orders Act 2023.

The federal government filed the review petition through the attorney general. 

The three-judge bench of the Supreme Court declared the Review of Judgements and Orders Act 2023 null and void last month.

Announcing the reserved verdict, the apex court ruled that the law had no legal value and termed it to be unconstitutional.
