Lahore High Court (LHC) dismissed the National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) appeal against the release of Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi declaring it inadmissible, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Ali Baqir Najafi of the Lahore High Court gave a verdict on NAB's appeal.
The Court in its short decision wrote that the court was not affected by the single bench’s decision, because the single bench did not give any special order to NAB.
“The single bench decision does not have any negative impact on NAB,” the Court’s decision.
In the appeal, NAB challenged the single bench’s decision to release Pervaiz Elahi during physical remand.
