Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has been elected the new chairman of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan (MWM) by a landslide majority, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the election took place during a high-profile session of the MWM Shura-e-Umomi (General Council), with members arriving from across the country to cast their votes.
Senator Jafri secured an impressive 80% of the total votes, a record margin that reflects his wide acceptance and strong support base within the party ranks.
