PM Shehbaz sacks PMDC members

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday sacked the members of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Following PM Shehbaz’s action, the Health Ministry promptly issued a notification cancelling the appointments of the PMDC members.
According to the Health Ministry notification, the PMDC members who were appointed through the Sept 25, 2020 notification, have been removed and the decision regarding termination of their appointments would be implemented forthwith.
