Children’s Hospital Emergency Extension opens

Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi Saturday inaugurated the emergency extension project and shelter at the Children’s Hospital Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He got the extension project inaugurated by children Mahnoor and Qamar who are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The emergency extension project which includes 200 beds was funded by Islamic Aid Pakistan. Out of the 200, a ward of 38 beds was made functional. Mohsin Naqvi called the chairman of Islamic Aid Pakistan Mahmood ul Hassan to thank him for the project.
Punjab CM inspected the Operation rooms, Isolation ward, and other departments and heaped praise over the construction of the newly inaugurated projects. While reviewing the shelter, Mohsin Naqvi asked the families of the patients about the facilities provided to them. The families of patients from far away areas including Afghanistan and KP said that the standard of the treatments provided in Punjab’s Children's Hospital is top-notch.
He also visited the under-construction project of Child Health Sciences University in the back of the hospital. It is a four-storey building which will be completed in the year 2025. Mohsin Naqvi directed to get support from the benefactors and get it completed ahead of time.
Provincial Ministers Amir Mir, Dr Javed Akram, Health Secretary, Information Secretary, Deputy Commissioner Lahore and others were also present in the inauguration ceremony.
