Huge quantity of explosives recovered in Peshawar FR raid

During their raids on godowns of different mining companies in Peshawar Frontier Region, the sensitive agencies officials and police recovered nearly 20 maunds of illegally stocked explosives, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The sensitive agencies got a tip that some mining companies had stocked excessive explosives which were unlicensed and without permits. They were informed that this illegal stock might be used in sabotage activities.
The agencies and police started their operation on Saturday and raided godowns of different companies. They checked the explosive records and their permits. During their checking, they found that three mining companies had stocked explosive material in large quantity. They recovered 157 detonators, 1,100 meter safety fuses and 72 sacks of 11kg explosives which were unlicensed and were kept without permits.
They arrested accused Noorul Amin s/o Muhammad Rafiq r/o Bara Khyber Agency; Gul Nawaz s/o Dil Feroz Khan r/o Swat; and Rehman Ullah s/o Abdul Razzaq r/o Darra Adam Khel.
The accused were handed over to an investigation team that was quizzing them.
