15 hurt as explosion derails train in Bolan

A blast on Friday ripped through Jaffar Express in Balochistan district Bolan, injuring 15 people when six of its bogies were derailed, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
The explosion hit the train when it was chugging on the rail track near Peshi and Paneer railway stations. The train was going to Peshawar from Mach area.
The bomb exploded under bogey No 5. As many as 15 passengers got hurt in the blast.
Two of the severely injured persons were shifted to the Combined Military Hospital.
The injured included: Sawal Khan s/o Muhammad Anwar r/o Bahawalpur, Abdul Bari s/o Abdul Rahim r/o Abgham, Juma Gul s/o Bari Dad r/o Lahore, Ghulam Sarwar s/o Abdul Malik r/o Quetta, Salman Jafar s/o Jafar Hussain, Ghulam Rasool, and Jehanzeb Khan s/o Haji Munawwar Khan.
Four women were also among the hurt.
The railways authorities said that train relief and rescue officials were promptly dispatched to the venue.
As per the initial reports, the explosion destroyed train’s engine and it was tossed into a mountain ditch. Besides this, six bogeys of the train were also derailed as the blast hit it.
