Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawmaker and TV host Aamir Liaquat Hussain Monday met with Prime Minister Imran Khan in which premier rejected his resignation option and assured him he cared for the Karachi issues and everything will be alright soon, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.

Amir Liaqat in a series of tweet posted on his Twitter account said,” After a long meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan, he rejected the four-page resignation. PM said will not talk on resignation. I opened my heart in front of Prime Minister. PM appreciated my role of highlighting Karachi issues”

“In a democracy, the voices that are raised from the party for issues bring party forward. I am happy that you have become the voice of Karachi and attracted everyone's attention.”

PM told Amir Liaqat: “I consider every problem of Karachi as my own problem, God willing, everything will be solved, Prime Minister.”

“Electricity, water and a better life is the right of every citizen of Pakistan and especially Karachi and we will give this right to them,” PM assured Aamir Liaqat Hussain.

“There are many problems, you are a politically minded friend and a leader, and you have to play your role. I will not let you turn away from your responsibilities. You will be with me, Prime Minister said,” Amir Liaqat Husain said in tweet.

“All the issues you have just mentioned about electricity, water and sewerage, development projects, are stalled. I know all this. Karachi is the most important city to me. I remember you said we will do a clean sweep. And we did, now we will sweep the issues clean,” PTI Karachi leader Amir Liaqat Hussain quoted Prime Minister Imran Khan.

He claimed that Prime Minister Imran Khan termed his an ‘asset of PTI’. “PM said there is no need to give up, we need you. We have to make Pakistan a welfare state together. I value that you raised your constituency and Karachi issues. In fact it was my voice too. I am happy that you are in PTI,” Amir Liqat Hussain wrote in a tweet.

Earlier in the day he announced on Twitter that he was heading to Prime Minister House to submit his resignation to PM Imran Khan. “I am heading to Prime Minister House to present my resignation to Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan,” the lawmaker tweeted from Karachi.”

Interestingly, after the series of tweet, the TV host Amir Liqat tweeted a poetry, “Yeh adab ki baat thi, bs adab mein reh gayi, Yeh ansuion ki dastan bs ansuion mein beh gyi”
