PM Shehbaz, MQM leaders take up caretaker governments

A delegation of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) led by its Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday and discussed overall political situation including the caretaker governments, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The meeting was part of consultations that the prime minister is holding with the allied parties for formation of caretaker set-up due next month.
The meeting also laid focus on the latest census.
The MQM delegation commended the prime minister for personally monitoring Karachi's development projects in order to ensure their completion on priority basis.
The delegation also commended the efforts of the economic team led by the prime minister for reaching a loan agreement with the IMF.
Federal Minister for Information Technology Syed Aminul Haque, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, Dr Farooq Sattar and Mustafa Kamal were also part of the MQM delegation.
Minister for Railways and Aviation Khawaja Saad Rafique and Minister for Economic Affairs Sardar Ayaz Sadiq were also present in the meeting.
