Punjab CM seeks to enhance investment and trade ties with Spain

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has expressed keen interest in strengthening investment and trade ties with Spain.
In a meeting with the Ambassador of Spain to Pakistan, H.E. Josè Antonio de Ory, and the Honorary Consul of Spain, H.E. Jalal Salahuddin, CM Maryam highlighted the rich investment opportunities available for the Spanish business community in Punjab.
"Punjab offers lucrative opportunities in textiles, food processing, agriculture, and livestock," stated CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif. She emphasized that foreign investors are provided with a secure environment for safe investments in Punjab.
The meeting also addressed the potential for collaboration in infrastructure and renewable energy sectors.
Both sides discussed the importance of increasing joint efforts to strengthen mutual relations in trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism.
The Spanish Ambassador expressed a strong interest in fostering a robust economic partnership with Punjab. The meeting was attended by Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and other relevant officers.
