Pakistan Post comes to rescue of pensioners amid virus crisis

Pakistan Post Friday taken a historical decision to facilitate the pensioners as the pensioners now will get their pensions at home.
The decision has been taken in the wake of coronavirus crisis, which is spreading rapidly around the globe including Pakistan and elder people are considered most vulnerable to the disease.
Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services, Murad Saeed said the government fully realises the threat to the people and they have taken the decision to keep them safe.
He said around 1.3 million pensioners would get their pensions at their home addresses as they could not expose them to the dangerous disease.
He said all the arrangements in this regard have been completed and the pensioners would start getting their pensions at their homes through the postal service.
