PPP candidate wins Badin’s PS-70 by-poll

Pakistan People’s Party candidate Haji Dada Muhammad Halepoto has won Badin’s PS-70 by-election with a heavy margin of 40 thousand votes, reported 24News HD TV channel.
According to unofficial results of 123 polling stations of Badin’s PS-70, the PPP candidate got 46354 votes while JUI Maulana Gul Hassan got 6435 votes. Total 57501 votes have been cast and the turnout remained 28 percent.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has registered a total of 166,809 voters in the constituency, of which 91,587 are males and 75,222 females. 123 polling stations had been set up. PPP Chairman Bilawal Zardari Bhutto has congratulated Haji Dada Muhammad Halepoto for his historic win and said that PPP’s victory was a victory for the people of Badin. Mocking and relating PTI with IMF, he said, “PTIF is facing a constant defeat in by-elections.” He said PPP was fighting for the people of the country. He said serving the people was the soul of PPP’s politics. He said they were trying their level best to solve the problems facing by the people. He lauded the people of Badin for making PPP victorious.
