The first teaser for Pakistani action flick ‘50 Crore’ began trending in Pakistan for all the wrong reasons as the public criticized the makers of the movie as the copy of Spanish crime drama television series La Casa De Papel, popularly known as Money Heist.
The teaser showed the names of characters representing different cities of Pakistan, similar to Money Heist in which all the characters had named of famous cities.
The teaser created an uproar on social media with fans speculating that the film will revolve around a gang, led by a ‘Professor’ who plans a heist – or it could be a comical take on the Netflix show.
Aijaz Aslam, who is a part of the series, has come forward to clear out all the misunderstanding of people.
In a video message, he said, “I am coming with a new project with other celebrities. It’s a different project and lots of fans are impatient and they are not getting it. They are being judgmental and calling it a copy of Money Heist. It’s a request for everyone to please wait for 8-10 days and you will see then.”
He further adds, “After that, you can share your views whether it’s right or not. But please before its release you shouldn’t judge. Please appreciate different projects or else you would have to see the same type of things and get bored,” he added.
He concluded saying: “I am receiving appreciation on my get up, thank you for that.”
