26th Constitutional Amendments: Kh Asif says govt has 'completed number game'

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has claimed that the government and its allies have enough support for the proposed 26th Constitutional Amendments but still government wanted to create broader consensus for the legislation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside Parliament House, Kh Asif said that the government has created a consensus on proposed draft with the support of PPP and JUI. He claimed that if the opposition fail to accept the proposed draft by night, then the government will follow its own way to pass the amendments. He said the government wanted to end culture of rules violation and overstepping by some pillars of the state. He said that after the approval of the proposed draft, parliament will regain its lost powers. He said all members of the parliaments are available in their houses and they will reach parliament.
