Train crushes woman, daughter to death in Multan

A woman and her daughter died on the spot when a speedy train hit them near Sher Shah Railway Crossing in Multan on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
Police officials said that the tragic incident occurred when the woman and her daughter were trying to cross the railway track.
The ill-fated mother was later identified as Saba who was 28 years old while her daughter, Fatima, was two years old.
Further investigation was under way.
Earlier in February 2025, three persons died on the spot when a truck loaded with crushed stones fell on their house located in Basti Gulabi Railway Crossing in Qadirpuran near Multan.
During unloading the truck lost balance and fell on a house resulting in death of three inhabitants who were asleep in a room.
