A video of veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has been circulating on social media in which she talked her heart out about the titles of current Pakistani dramas.
The lady took to her YouTube channel and raised her concern.
She compared the titles of current dramas and old Pakistani dramas.
Talking about it, she said, “During our era, producers used to give importance to titles. Titles were given according to the story, feel, and the characters of the drama which had a great impact on the minds of people. Producers used to emphasize the importance of meaningful titles of dramas.
Now, the titles are so bad, like ‘Bechari Tanno’, ‘Bad Naseeb’, ‘Allah Mari’, ‘Kalmoohi’, ‘Muje Talaq Chahyea’, ‘Muje Talaq Ho Gai’, we have seen a lot of shallow names like these.
In older times, we saw beautiful titles like, ‘Mahe Kinan’, ‘Zingar’, ‘Tanhayan’, ‘Ankahi’, ‘Dhoop Kinare’, and ‘Aina’.
Now, we don’t want to think about names, are there no words in the dictionary? People asked me the meaning of Zebaish and I was shocked to know that it was a new word for people.
She also shared beautiful memories with her colleague and co-actor Hassam Qazi who passed away at an early age after a cardiac arrest.
