Schoolgirl torture accused get bail from court

A court in Lahore on Saturday approved bail to three schoolgirls for torturing their classmate and also barred police from arresting them until January 30, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier, police have conducted raids on the house of the schoolgirls named in the case for torturing and humiliating their classmate over drug abuse dispute at an elite school of Lahore.
However, police said the parents along with their daughters had left the house when they reached their residence in Defence area of Lahore on Saturday. The police found the house locked.

Meanwhile, police have got medical checkup of the victim girl which proved that she was tortured.
Police have also investigated from school administration in this regard. The incident took place on issue of smoking e-cigarette.
Further investigation into the incident was underway.
In a related development, the three girl students who were involved in torturing of their classmate have moved court seeking interim bail to avoid arrest.

The court, however, asked Amaima Qaiser, Jannat Malik and Kainat Malik to submit surety bonds of Rs50,000 each. In their pleas, the accused termed police action to register case against them as mala fide.
They prayed the court that they wanted to join the police investigation to reveal the facts.
The girls insisted that they were innocent and urged the court to order approval of their interim bails.
The court also sought record from the Defence police.
