Bushra, the former first wife of deceased lawmaker and television personality Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain, has decided to challenge the court order to exhume her former husband’s body for an autopsy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Bushra reached the local court in Karachi on Tuesday to get the copy of the court order for filing an appeal in the high court against the verdict of judicial magistrate (East) Wazeer Hussain Memon.
Bushra got the verified copy of the verdict of the judicial magistrate about the post-mortem of Aamir Liaquat.
Earlier, a judicial magistrate in Karachi directed the authorities on Saturday to conduct a post-mortem examination of Aamir Liaquat Hussain, who passed away on June 9 and was buried the next day.
The court order reads, "It is crystal clear that the cause of death of deceased is still uncertain which itself has raised a question on the death, either it is natural or unnatural, and could only be ascertained after exhumation of a dead body and its examination."
