FIA nabs Afghan national for making bogus documents to travel abroad

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Tuesday arrested an Afghan national in Islamabad on the charge of allegedly making bogus documents for travelling abroad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
It is learnt that the FIA offloaded an Afghan national who attempted to travel to France with a fake identity of Rehmat Ali. Upon being interrogated, the accused admitted that his real name was Ali Raza, son of Hassan Ali.
The Anti-Human Trafficking and Smuggling Wing of the FIA shifted the accused to the police station where he informed the officials about another Afghan national who forged the false documents for him.
A team of the FIA carried out a raid in Sector G-8/4 of Islamabad on the information of the accused and arrested the Afghan national named Rehmatullah.
The FIA team also seized a computer and other equipment that were used in making bogus documents for travelling abroad.
The FIA also obtained three-day physical remand of both the accused and launched further investigations.
