Punjab CM assures traders of solving their problems on priority basis

Punjab caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi Tuesday assured the traders of Lahore of solving their problems on a priority basis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A delegation of the business community had called on the Punjab chief minister and informed him about their problems and proposed suggestions.
The traders congratulated caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi for presenting a tax-free budget for the first four months of Punjab.
The chief minister directed to strictly implement the court order banning rallies and processions on Mall Road.
He also directed that the Lahore deputy commissioner must ensure the order banning rallies and processions on Mall Road in Lahore.
The chief minister ordered to complete Badami Bagh Road project on a priority basis.
He also ordered immediate reforms to improve the vehicle registration system in Punjab on the pattern of Islamabad.
“Effective measures will be taken to improve traffic and eliminate encroachments on Multan Road,” he added.
He also vowed to consider the proposal of providing solar system in easy installments to small businessmen, directing the authorities concerned to solve the problems of streetlights and construction and maintenance of market roads in Gulberg.
He also agreed to the suggestion to build parking plazas in markets.
“The Lahore division commissioner and the authorities concerned have been instructed to identify the land for the construction of parking plazas in major markets and submit a report,” he said.
“You are ‘Mohsin’ of Punjab,” the traders said to the chief minister.
“Under your leadership, the Punjab government presented a tax-free and people-friendly budget. We appreciate your efforts for timely completion of the development projects in Lahore,” they added.
“We thank you for your personal interest in solving the problems of the business community,” they stated.
Provincial ministers including SM Tanveer, Azfar Ali Nasir, Amir Mir, Punjab IGP, Lahore division commissioner, deputy commissioner and other officials concerned were also present on the occasion.
