US Ambassador Blome visits Gomal Zam Dam

US Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome has visited the Gomal Zam Dam on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to a posted uploaded on Twitter by the US Consulate in Peshawar, the American envoy visited various sections of the dam.
Built with $130 million of US funding, the Gomal Zam Dam has provided enough electricity for more than 20,000 homes.
The dam has also expanded agricultural production on 191,000 acres for local farmers, controlling potential flood damage from impacting more than 30,000 households, and dramatically increasing Pakistan’s water storage capacity.
