ANF arrests two, seizes 84kg opium and 36kg hashish in Sheikhupura

ANF Intelligence and ANF Lahore in joint operation Monday arrested two members of inter-provincial drug trafficking gang from Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
120 kg of opium and hashish were seized from the car of smugglers in an operation near Kot Abdul Malik Interchange. The drugs seized included 84 kilograms of opium and 36 kilograms of hashish.
The arrested Waqas Haider and Mamun Zulfiqar belong to Sheikhupura. The accused were trying to smuggle drugs from Peshawar to Lahore.
The accused used to supply drugs to local drug dealers in different parts of Punjab.
According to ANF spokesperson, a case has been registered against both the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act while further investigation is underway.
