Senator Dr. Affan Ullah Khan has uttered rather audacious statements regarding Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and legendary scriptwriter Anwar Maqsood.
Affan Ullah has lately posted an appalling tweet that states: “Mahira Khan has mental health issues and Anwar Maqsood is a drug addict in this part of age. Both of these shameless characters are cursed by the public. Books can be written on Mahira Khan's character, she also flatters Indian actors for money. Anwar Maqsood is a cursed character full of prejudice.”

In response to this, Pakistani singer-turned-actor Farhan Saeed composed a message, full of disapproval, stating: “This is the mentality that does not let Pakistan grow, this is what they do when someone just gives an opinion or has a political preference. They get personal so people stop giving their opinion. Senator? Zuban jahilon wali.”
It is pertinent to mention that Mahira Khan appeared in an interview segment with legendary poet Anwar Maqsood, during which the duo talked about various thought-provoking topics.

There is one particular clip regulating over social media which has caught everyone’s attention. During the video, Mahira Khan can be seen asking Anwar Maqsood: “If you had been the Prime Minister of Pakistan, what course of action would you have devised for the nation?”
The writer was ready with a response, lacing with pure wit: “I would have forgiven all the corrupt people then they would have themselves left corruption. If I were to transform the country like ‘Riyasat-i- Madina”, I am sure that 19 billion people out of 20 would lose their hands.”
