Sheikh Rashid appears in Imran Khan’s murder allegation case

Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid Tuesday appeared in the court of judicial magistrate for hearing of the case registered against him over accusing former president Asif Ali Zardari of conspiring to kill Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Has the challan of the case been produced?” Judicial Magistrate Abbas Shah questioned.
“Yes, the case challan has been submitted,” said the prosecutor.
“My lawyer is busy in the Supreme Court. Therefore, he cannot appear today,” Sheikh Rashid told the judicial magistrate.
“A plea has also been filed to quash the case,” he added.
The court allowed Sheikh Rasheed to mark his attendance and leave.
