The police registered a case against three identified accused and 40 other unknown accused on the complaint of FIA Deputy Director Multan.

SHO Riaz Sial started the search operation in Oadh Colony to arrest the accused. However, all the members of Oadh community escaped after locking their homes.

The police arrested 14 suspects from the area.

It is pertinent to mention that the FIA team had the other day raided the house of an online fraud accused Qari Khalid at Oadh Colony in Khanewal and recovered Rs18.3 million from his possession.

However, when FIA team tried to arrest the accused, the accused and his accomplices started resistance and thrashed FIA team. As a result FIA team left the site without arresting the accused.
