PCB appoints Sameer Ahmad as Champions Trophy Tournament Director

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appointed Sameer Ahmad Syed as Tournament Director for Champions Trophy due to be held in the country early next year, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sameer Ahmad Syed, who is also the PCB’s chief operating officer (CEO), is an extraordinarily organized professional, said PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.
Naqvi said Sameer has expertise in administrative affairs and the hosting Champions Trophy as per international standards will reflect his capabilities.
Sameer said he is ready to take on the important responsibility which is an honour for him.
