Peshawar’s varsity issued notice after objectionable dance video goes viral

The Khyber Medical University (KMU) Friday took notice of an objectionable dance video of a female singer at a festival in a private university of Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Conducting such activities with the logo and name of KMU on the stage is quite objectionable,” said a KMU notice that had been issued to the private university.

“All educational institutions are bound to maintain ethical and moral standards and sanctity of the institute during all curricular and co-curricular activities,” it added.

The KMU notice also asked the management of the private university to explain their position within three days.
“Otherwise, strict disciplinary action will be initiated against your institute which can also result in de-affiliation of your institute,” it warned.

It is to be noted here that a video of a woman singer, dancing boldly in objectionable clothing at a skill festival in a private university of Peshawar, had gone viral on social media which drew a reaction from the KMU.
