Britain has become the biggest importer of chloroquine tablets from Pakistan as the number of coronavirus patients in the UK shot up to 129,044 and deaths to 17,337
Special Assistant to the Pakistani Prime Minister on Information Firdous Ashiq Awan told reporters that Pakistan would send millions of doses of chloroquine to "friendly" nations including the US, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Italy.
The biggest recipient will be Britain, which will get five million tablets, Firdous Ashiq Awan said.
