PM tells economic policymakers to come up with 'out of box solutions'

Prime Minister Imran Khan has advised devising out of the box solutions for stable growth instead of imposing more taxes on the masses. He said tax reforms are the priority of the government.
Chairing a meeting of the Economic Advisory Council via video link, the PM directed the council to come up with a roadmap of all short, medium and long measures for economic stability.
He said the road map should be aimed at organizing sectors such as energy construction agriculture, tourism and social protection and public-private partnership. The PM further said the council had been established to get benefit from the economic experts for the betterment of the country’s economy. He said the business environment has improved because of the steps taken by the incumbent government.
