Baloch tribal leader severely injured, 4 guards dead in Qalat firing

A Baloch tribal leader, Sardar Asad Shahwani, sustained critical gun wounds when some unknown persons opened fire at him in Qalat division of Balochistan province on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
However, four of his security guards died in the incident.
According to media reports, when Sardar Shahwani went to the cemetery to offer Fateha at the grave of his late father after saying Eid prayers, some unknown persons, who were laying an ambush, opened fire at him.
His four guards were killed by the firing while three bullets hit Sardar Shahwani, injuring him critically.
According to levies officials, the tribal leader was shifted to a Quetta hospital through a private vehicle in critical condition.
