Govt reconstitutes Overseas Pakistanis Foundation BoG

Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis on Tuesday issued notification regarding reconstitution of Board of Governors (BoG) of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the notification, Syed Qamar Raza was appointed as chairman and independent director while Chaudhary Asif Mehmood was appointed as independent director.
Shaheen Khalid Butt, Shamsher Ali Rao, Jahanzaib Baig, Onaza Ehsan Butt and Mohammad Kamran Khan were also appointed as independent directors.
It is necessary to mention here that the Board of Governors is the supreme governing body for the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), responsible for managing its operations and ensuring the welfare of overseas Pakistanis.
The OPF's mission includes contributing to the rehabilitation of returning overseas Pakistanis, generating sufficient resources, and coordinating with stakeholders.
