Jail spokesperson says all facilities are being provided to PTI chief  

All facilities have been provided to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan in District Jail Attock as per 257 and 771 of Pakistan Prisons Rules 1978, said Punjab Prison Department’s spokesperson.

This explanation comes after the visit report of Additional Sessions Judge Attock. “A new washroom has been constructed for Imran Khan in his cell on Saturday, with western styled commode and wash basin installed. Bath soap, perfume, air freshener, towel, and tissue paper are also available in the washroom.

The spokespeople continued that the washroom walls are made 5 feet high and the bathroom has a new door too.

In the room, PTI Chairman is utilizing a bed, pillow, bed mattress, table, chair, air cooler, exhaust fan, fruit, honey, dates, prayer place, Quran with English translation, and about a dozen books for study, tea thermos, and newspaper on regular basis.   

According to the law, he can see family members on Tuesday and lawyers on Thursday. 

Five doctors have been deployed to provide medical facilities to Imran Khan. A doctor is always on duty for eight hours.

The spokesperson added special food is being given to Imran Khan with the approval of IG Prisons Punjab, which is also checked by a special team of doctors.

CCTV cameras have been installed on the veranda outside Imran Khan's room for security purposes.

More than 4000 CCTV cameras have been installed not only in District Jail Attock but also in other jails of Punjab for security, the spokesperson added.
