Meera Jee seeks Rs5,000 stipend from Artist Fund

A Pakistani film icon in her own right, Meera Jee has submitted an application in Artist Funds as she is facing a financial crisis.
In the form, Meera has disclosed that she owns a house in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) and seven people are dependent on her.
It is to be mentioned here that under this scheme, artists get Rs5,000 per month.
In the form, the actress described her age 42 years and she mentioned that she served the showbiz industry for the past 25 years.
Earlier, Meera Jee announced that she is penning down her autobiography.
The actress posted a picture on her official Instagram profile and wrote: ‘One of my library picture, lifetime picture legends in one frame India 2003. Taken this picture when I was in Bombay (now Mumbai) I start writing chapter 1 to chapter 3 my life story I’m enjoying writing I’m enjoying so much writing deep down parts ..coming soon my book …my life who I am …why I am.”
She further adds, “The actress has always attracted limelight pertaining to her quirky and attention-seeking antics. Be it her professional life or personal turmoil the actress has never shied away from talking about it. Besides this, the veteran actress has also announced a sequel to her Baaji movie as well.”
