The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad Friday declared Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Ali Amin Gandapur a proclaimed offender in a case registered at the I-9 Police Station.
According to the 24NewsHD TV Channel, the Islamabad court, presided over by Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, issued a written order separating Gandapur's case from the other accused leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for co-accused Raja Rashid Hafeez, Wasiq Qayyum, Raja Khurram Nawaz, Faisal Javed, and Umar Tanveer in the case.
During the hearing in the ATC Islamabad, the lawyers for the absent accused, including Sardar Masroof, Murtaza Tori, and Zahid Bashir Dar, had filed exemption requests on their clients' behalf, which the court rejected.
The Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court judge further cancelled the surety bonds of the absent accused in his written orders issued on Friday, and the case was adjourned until November 28 for further proceedings.
