The Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) and the International Turkic Academy have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance international cooperation in the field of education and outreach activities.

Quaid-i-Azam University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali and International Turkic Academy President Prof Dr Darkhan Kydyrali signed the document aimed at recognizing the mutual interest in the fields of education, training, development and dissemination of knowledge.

The International Turkic Academy was established in 2010 and functions as a full-fledged international organisation that promotes and coordinates the enhancement of scientific and educational cooperation and forge stronger ties with the scientific and academic community.

Prof Dr Zahid Asghar, Registrar, QAU briefed the delegation about the university’s achievements.  Muhammad Murtaza Noor Adviser Linkages, Public Relations and Media COMSTECH, Islamabad and Muhammad Ishtiaq Ali, Director Academics, QAU also signed the MoU. Director of Student Affairs QAU and senior faculty members also attended the meeting.
