A delegation, comprising students and faculty members of the Government Training Institute for Women, visited the Jinnah House in Lahore on Sunday and strongly condemned the incidents of violence of May 9, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking on the occasion, the students said they stood shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan Army and prayed to The Almighty Allah to grant the martyrs the highest place in Jannah.
They also demanded action against the perpetrators, facilitators as well as against those who had masterminded acts of vandalism and arson on that day so that none could dare to do this again.
They were of the view that the incident was a consequence of a well-thought-out conspiracy.
They opined that such acts could not weaken the army.
Thousands of people lost their temper and resorted to acts of violence in several cities of the country following the arrest of former prime minister and their leader Imran Khan on May 9.
